Johnathon Holland:

For my reaction time, I found a special method that helps me react faster. It does not work for everyone, but it works for me. When I am holding an angle in CF, I tell myself over and over that the enemy is about to peek me and "scare" myself so that when they do peek me, I react faster because I am "prepared" and "scared". It sounds stupid, but it works for me. haha When I am not using this method, I usually don't react very quickly. So, if I am not prepared for an enemy, my reaction time is definitely slower. I practice it in TD by holding small angles and doing what I said above.

对于反应速度，我有一个特殊的方法能够让我反应的更快，不过他不会每个人练都有用。在CF中当我卡一个点位方向时，我会不断提醒自己马上就会有敌人出现，不断让我自己紧张集中注意力所以当敌人真的闪出来时我就能很快的反应因为我已经准备好了，这听起来很傻很没道理，不过确实我用起来是管用的。哈哈当我不这么练习的时候我通常不会很快反应，所以如果我没能注意力集中准备好，我的反应时间就会慢很多，我在团队竞技模式中会刻意卡一些角度小的点位来练习上面说的方法。

Now it is getting closer and closer to CFS and WCA global finals. Do you think Carbon have a very promising chance for the champions?

目前距离CFS和WCA世界总决赛开幕越来越近了，你认为Carbon有机会染指世界冠军的宝座吗?

Johnathon Holland:

I think that we do have a good chance for it. The only problem with 3sUP.Carbon is that we are inconsistent and need to improve on playing our normal gameplay all the time. We do not get to play very much because we have work/school and also because there are not very many teams in NA. Because we do not get to play much, it makes us less consistent in our gameplay. Example: The 1st day of the invitational we were very bad compared to how we normally play and we only win 1 game. The 2nd day we started out very bad and almost lose to Groovy Gaming by losing stupid rounds that we should never lose! Then we win a crazy clutch against Groovy and start to play like normal again after that and play normal the rest of the day. On the day of the Finals, we play normal until we start BL side of Port. When we enter the bombsite on Port we get flashed for 1minute every time and die. It was very frustrating and we start to play badly after that on our best map (Port). Our inexperience makes us lose rounds we shouldn't lose (4v2's, 3v1's, etc. HG told us this.), and also makes it hard for us to play for a long time because we are not used to playing for more than 2-3 hours. We start to get tired! We feel that we need to improve on making our gameplay consistent so we don't lose stupid rounds and then lose matches/maps that we should not lose, and we also need to improve on being able to play for more than 3 hours at a time!

我认为我们确实有一定的机会争冠军。我们唯一的大问题是我们发挥的很不稳定，我们急需要在大部分时间里都能打出正常水平。因为上学/工作时间的冲突，我们没有很多整队训练的机会，而且美服训练队伍也不多。因为我们一起练习的时间少了，所以我们的发挥就很不稳定。例如：在巴西邀请赛第一天我们和正常的状态相距甚远，就赢了一场比赛。第二天我们进入状态也很慢，差点还因为丢掉了几乎不可能丢掉的一些回合输给了西班牙语服务器的Groovy Gaming，后来在拿下了一个非常难打的残局之后，我们才逐渐在第二天的剩余比赛中正常发挥。在决赛里，我们一直到港口(第四图)做潜伏之前都是正常发挥的，做潜伏后，我们一旦攻入包点每次都被闪光闪的非常厉害然后就掉了，这让我们很挫败，恶性循环，我们开始渐渐地失去了比赛的节奏(在我们最出色的图港口上)，汉宫告诉我们我们因为经验匮乏输掉了一些不该输的回合(4打2，三打1等)，而且我们也缺乏长时间比赛的经验，我们慢慢地在比赛后期感觉非常疲惫。所以我们认为首先我们需要提高稳定住队伍的状态，不丢掉那些该拿的分，还有就是练习能在3小时的比赛里坚持到最后。
