在刚刚结束不久的CFS2015巴西邀请赛中，代表国服出战的汉宫成功捍卫CF的中国荣耀，再次将世界级冠军收入囊中，但是在决赛中汉宫遭遇了北美服务器冠军3sUp.Carbon的强力阻击，本次邀请赛也是在CFS S1世界总决赛之后时隔两年双方的又一次邂逅，果不其然擦出了不同凡响的火花，双方在大战五张地图后最终分出了胜负，虽然汉宫拿下了比赛，但是Carbon强大的整体表现以及出色的个人能力都给广大CFer留下了深刻的印象，凶狠的钢枪以及骇人的反响时间都让大家眼前一亮，到底Carbon对于本次与汉宫的交手有着怎样的感受?他们练习CF的方法又有怎样的不同呢?小编也是在赛后联系到了在本次巴西邀请赛决赛中上演神奇四杀的Carbon队员xfam0usx，让他来为我们解答这些问题~

ca90723: First Congrats winning the 2nd place of CFS Brazil Invitation Tournament, I know this is the second for Carbon to play on Global Stage and first time to enter the finals, it must mean a lot for you. Most questions are about the finals match between Carbon and HG. After that match many gamers in cf china community who barely know anything about CF NA are deeply impressed by team Carbon and especially the marvelous 4k streak by you in map of blackwidow. They have thrown out lots of questions on you, on team Carbon and on the match.

Many people would like to know how you guys evaluate about team HG, individual player’s skill and team complete performance, their weakness and strong points? Lots of fans keep analyzing and hope to hear some view points from foreign friends

第一个问题，很多中国的CF玩家都喜欢分析评价我们本土的队伍(比如这次的汉宫)，队伍的整体实力，每一名队员的个人能力，他们的弱点还有最强点?我们的国内玩家都很好奇国外队伍(你们)对于这些的看法?

Johnathon Holland:

About HG: We think that their highest skilled player is Harlen. He was the most impressive from their team when it comes to aiming ability! The way Wn used the m4 was hard to believe too, because he would kill you so fast that it seem like he was using an ak. Their team seems to be based more around teamplay and strategy, than aiming for headshots and individual skill. It was hard to figure out their strategy! They seemed weakest on GR when we would 4 person push something and leave 1 person to either flank them or watch for them to flank us. It was very hard to try and work slowly on BL side vs HG. They were very strong against that. When they were on BL, it felt like it was almost impossible to retake a site from them, so we had to kill them before they took a site or we would lose the round. Their timing on when to flank and their timing on how they execute their site takes seemed perfect. If we did not get crazy shots on them, we lose the round.

In CF China, team HG may not be the best and most wellknown, but definitely a team AG or EP would never prefer to meet in semifinals or earlier, their toughness always saved them when they fell behind. And their team strats is very versatile, some fans have considered them the team with best S&D strategy. How do you think about it ? Do you agree with this thought based on what you have experienced in the match against them?

第二个问题，在中国的圈子里汉宫也许不是那支最兼具实力和人气的队伍，但是他们无疑是AG和EP等其他队伍最不愿意在淘汰赛面对的对手，他们在局面不利时所表现出的坚毅已经数次挽救过他们，他们的团队战术也是非常多变的，很多中国玩家都认为他们是中国CF战术体系最好的CF队伍，你在和他们的比赛中有感觉到他们的这些特点吗?你同意上述的看法吗?

Johnathon Holland:

We definitely agree that their S&D strategy was amazing and probably the best. It was something we were not prepared for. We always watch Chinese teams and see that they mostly play off of trying run in a group and win the round by out shooting their opponents. We feel that we are very good, as a team, at out shooting our opponents, so we were happy when we got to the finals to play against them. We thought we could win if it was mainly an "aim battle" kind of game.

我们非常赞同汉宫的战术非常的出色而且可能是最棒的，他们打出的是我们没有预料到的。我们在以往看到的往往是中国队伍集中人员以同步打一个点位然后打掉敌人这样的方式拿下比赛。我们认为我们也非常善于这样直接明了的打法，所以我们非常高兴能在这场决赛里和汉宫交手(他们和我们概念中的中国队伍不一样)，我们想如果只是单纯比拼枪法的较量，可能我们就赢了。

We all agree that Harlen was the MVP. He had so many kills every map that they won it is hard to consider someone else as the MVP. 1995 had some really nice clutches too! In my personal opinion, the player that gave me the most trouble was wn99. It was very frustrating to be killed so quickly by an m4.

我们五个人都认为哈伦是本场的MVP。他在汉宫赢得三张图里都拿到了很高的击杀，很难再选择除了他之外的其他人。1995(常旭)也拿下了几个非常漂亮的残局。而就我个人而言，最让我头痛的对手是吴楠(小九)，你懂的，被m4非常迅速的击杀是很让人沮丧的。

I am not sure after the finals if you had a chance to sit down and had some fun hanging with team HG, since they have a tournament in China to play this weekend, they got to hurry back for it. How is the feeling of playing against a Chinese top team? Team HG said Carbon had made lots of unexpected moves. Do you have the same feeling that HG has played something other NA teams haven’t done or not able to do before? Is this a good match that you have also learnt something from ? I know it is hard to have a good opponent like them in CF NA.

我不确定在赛后你们有没有机会坐下来和汉宫的队员一起吃饭聊天，因为他们这个周末在中国国内还有比赛要打，所以行程会很紧。和来自中国的顶级CF队伍打这样一场高水平的BO5比赛感觉是怎样的?汉宫的队员们感觉你们打出了很多他们没有预见的东西，你们是否也在这场和汉宫的比赛中见到了很多在和其他美服队伍训练中没有打过或无法打出的战术呢?我知道汉宫这样高水平的对手是你们平时在美服难以遇到的。

Johnathon Holland:

Most of the things that they did were things we have never seen. I have never seen a team smoke all sides of the map every round even if they are about to take a site. Usually, teams always stay on the side of the map that they will be attacking. They did so many things we have never seen.

Even on the first day of the tournament we were already talking with HG using our cellphones to translate things to each other. They are very cool! After the game, they wanted to drink together,have fun, and talk and that is what we did! A lot of what they said was a little hard to understand because Google Translate made it very confusing in English. They told us that they have been preparing to play us since CFS Season 1, that our marksmenship is very good, that we are very tough to play, they think that we have a very good chance against other Chinese teams, and that they think we are the best on Port, but they beat us on it because they prepared for us or something like that (Google translate made it hard to understand what they meant haha). We talked about a lot of things though, it would be too much to type on here.

汉宫执行的大多数战术细节都是我们之前没见识过的，我从没见过一个队在地图的两个包点每一个回合都封烟，即使他们就要去突破一个点了。通常来讲，队伍都会在大部分时间在要攻击的包点就近区域活动，而汉宫打出了很多我们没有见过的东西。

在比赛的第一天我们就已经和汉宫的队员们通过手机来翻译来交流了，他们都很棒很好相处，在比赛后他们主动邀请我们一起喝酒一起聊天，我们也这样度过了一段愉快的时光。很多他们想阐述的意思我们理解其他都稍微有些困难，因为谷歌翻译不给力呀!他们告诉我们，他们在CFSS1之后就一直期待准备和我们再次交手，告诉我们说我们的枪法很钢，赢我们不是一件容易的事，他们认为我们有很大机会去战胜中国的其他队伍，他们认为我们港口这张图是打的最好的，而他们能赢我们是因为他们对于我们做了特殊的研究和准备(谷歌翻译的锅!有点困难听懂!)我们聊了很多事，就不在这个采访里一一叙述了。

That Blackwidow 4K is absolutely insane to watch fans in china were shocked and woke up watching that happening. They are curious if you have some special practice to shoot in the smoke?

They found out team Carbon is much much better to adapt to smoke and got some advantage out of it then Chinese teams.

黑色城镇A大道上你完成的那个AK虚幻的四连杀实在是太疯狂了，当时把好多看比赛直播的中国观众都给震醒了吼吼，很多人都觉得Carbon比中国队伍对烟雾更加适应，他们很好奇你是否有特意练习烟雾中的枪法?

Johnathon Holland:

That Blackwidow 4k is one of the most insane things I have done in my life in Crossfire! It was like the hand of God took over and I was just watching!

I did not shoot them through smoke. If you watch it in slow-motion: /watch?v=ZEYVlSp26OE; You can see the first 3 come out of the smoke. I made the webcam part with my hand bigger and sync'ed it up with the spectator so you could see how my hand moves. A lot of people like to try to copy how I move my hand. Anyways, the last guy I got very lucky on, I flick around in the smoke looking for his "name" and trying to figure out where he is while spam-shooting. After I figured out where he is, I got a very lucky shot through the smoke and killed him. Tips on shooting through smoke: Try to find their name while pre-aiming at head-level so that you can hit their head. Once you find their name, move your crosshair in the direction you think they are going and tap-shoot. OR, if they shoot, look at the gun-light and shoot at where their head is in reference to that light.

黑色城镇的那个四杀无疑是我打CF以来最棒的发挥之一，就好似那一刻被上帝附身啦我只是在一旁看着一样。我并不是在烟雾里完成了那个四杀，如果你放慢速度看重放的话，你可以看到前三个汉宫队员当时已经在烟雾外了，我在这个重新编辑的视频里把现场画面放大并和游戏画面同步，你可以观察我是如何拉动鼠标的。一些人过去喜欢模仿我拉枪的整个动作习惯。总之，四杀的一个人我是有很大幸运成分在里面的，当时我拉动准星在烟雾里找他的红名，试图找到当时正在开火的最后一个人的位置，在我发现他的位置后，我非常幸运的一枪就命中了。烟雾里击杀敌人的秘诀就是，通过提前枪在爆头线的位置寻找敌人的红名，所以你开枪命中的话就是爆头，一旦瞄到红名，根据预判他们移动的方向，开枪点射;或者，如果他们开枪的话，根据枪口火焰来大概来估计他们头部的位置，开枪射击。

Some fans in china want to know your game settings (sens,crosshair type,resolution)and the periphals you use(mouse, keyboard, headset) Haha an old question.

很多中国CF玩家对于你的游戏内设置和所用外设很感兴趣，可以为我们介绍一下吗?

Johnathon Holland:

I use the Steelseries Sensei mouse, Razer Goliathus Large Speed edition mousepad, Razer Blackwidow Tournament edition keyboard, and HyperX Cloud2 headset. I am going to switch to a different mouse soon because I do not like the Steelseries drivers because they mess up a lot. I use 600DPI. 6/11 Windows Sensitivity. 4 Ingame Sensitivity. 34 Zoom Sensitivity. 800x600 Resolution. With AK and AWM/Deagle I use Type C with the color green or blue. With the M4 and sometimes the AK, I use Type A with the color yellow.

我用的鼠标是赛睿Sensei, 鼠标垫是雷蛇重装甲虫大号, 键盘是雷蛇黑寡妇竞技版，耳机是金士顿HyperX Cloud2, 我将会换用一个不同的鼠标，因为我不喜欢赛睿的驱动总是会出问题。我用600dpi, 桌面鼠标速度是6/11, 游戏内鼠标速度4, 狙击镜速度34, 游戏分辨率800x600, 当我用AK47, AWM和沙鹰时我会用绿色或者蓝色的三号圆准星。用M4和有时用AK47的时候我会换回黄颜色的1号准星。

Some fans in china are amazed at how fast you react, both with the awm or without it, they wonder if you do some special practice not in crossfire to maintain fast reaction?

很多中国玩家都惊讶于你的反应速度，不单单是使用狙击的时候，大家很好奇你在CF游戏外会通过特殊的方式练习保持自己的快速反应能力吗?

Johnathon Holland:

For my reaction time, I found a special method that helps me react faster. It does not work for everyone, but it works for me. When I am holding an angle in CF, I tell myself over and over that the enemy is about to peek me and "scare" myself so that when they do peek me, I react faster because I am "prepared" and "scared". It sounds stupid, but it works for me. haha When I am not using this method, I usually don't react very quickly. So, if I am not prepared for an enemy, my reaction time is definitely slower. I practice it in TD by holding small angles and doing what I said above.

对于反应速度，我有一个特殊的方法能够让我反应的更快，不过他不会每个人练都有用。在CF中当我卡一个点位方向时，我会不断提醒自己马上就会有敌人出现，不断让我自己紧张集中注意力所以当敌人真的闪出来时我就能很快的反应因为我已经准备好了，这听起来很傻很没道理，不过确实我用起来是管用的。哈哈当我不这么练习的时候我通常不会很快反应，所以如果我没能注意力集中准备好，我的反应时间就会慢很多，我在团队竞技模式中会刻意卡一些角度小的点位来练习上面说的方法。

Now it is getting closer and closer to CFS and WCA global finals. Do you think Carbon have a very promising chance for the champions?

目前距离CFS和WCA世界总决赛开幕越来越近了，你认为Carbon有机会染指世界冠军的宝座吗?

Johnathon Holland:

I think that we do have a good chance for it. The only problem with 3sUP.Carbon is that we are inconsistent and need to improve on playing our normal gameplay all the time. We do not get to play very much because we have work/school and also because there are not very many teams in NA. Because we do not get to play much, it makes us less consistent in our gameplay. Example: The 1st day of the invitational we were very bad compared to how we normally play and we only win 1 game. The 2nd day we started out very bad and almost lose to Groovy Gaming by losing stupid rounds that we should never lose! Then we win a crazy clutch against Groovy and start to play like normal again after that and play normal the rest of the day. On the day of the Finals, we play normal until we start BL side of Port. When we enter the bombsite on Port we get flashed for 1minute every time and die. It was very frustrating and we start to play badly after that on our best map (Port). Our inexperience makes us lose rounds we shouldn't lose (4v2's, 3v1's, etc. HG told us this.), and also makes it hard for us to play for a long time because we are not used to playing for more than 2-3 hours. We start to get tired! We feel that we need to improve on making our gameplay consistent so we don't lose stupid rounds and then lose matches/maps that we should not lose, and we also need to improve on being able to play for more than 3 hours at a time!

我认为我们确实有一定的机会争冠军。我们唯一的大问题是我们发挥的很不稳定，我们急需要在大部分时间里都能打出正常水平。因为上学/工作时间的冲突，我们没有很多整队训练的机会，而且美服训练队伍也不多。因为我们一起练习的时间少了，所以我们的发挥就很不稳定。例如：在巴西邀请赛第一天我们和正常的状态相距甚远，就赢了一场比赛。第二天我们进入状态也很慢，差点还因为丢掉了几乎不可能丢掉的一些回合输给了西班牙语服务器的Groovy Gaming，后来在拿下了一个非常难打的残局之后，我们才逐渐在第二天的剩余比赛中正常发挥。在决赛里，我们一直到港口(第四图)做潜伏之前都是正常发挥的，做潜伏后，我们一旦攻入包点每次都被闪光闪的非常厉害然后就掉了，这让我们很挫败，恶性循环，我们开始渐渐地失去了比赛的节奏(在我们最出色的图港口上)，汉宫告诉我们我们因为经验匮乏输掉了一些不该输的回合(4打2，三打1等)，而且我们也缺乏长时间比赛的经验，我们慢慢地在比赛后期感觉非常疲惫。所以我们认为首先我们需要提高稳定住队伍的状态，不丢掉那些该拿的分，还有就是练习能在3小时的比赛里坚持到最后。
