Inthecaseofatieaftertheregulationroundsend，18roundswillbeplayedagain.

TheMaprotationwillbeannouncedonNov，25，2011viatheWCGwebsite.

Factionofeachteamwillbedecidedbycointossbeforethematch.

GroupStageisRoundRobin.Eachteamplaysonematchagainsteachoftheotherteamsinthesamegroup.Winningteamsreceivethreepointsforawinandlosingteamsreceivezero.Ifthegameendstie，eachteamwillbeget1point.

TherankingforGroupStageisdecidedbythetotalnumberofpointsacquiredduringgroupmatches.

Inthecaseof2teamshavingthesamenumberofpoints，thefollowingruleswillbeappliedinorderlisted：

1)HeadToHead(Thewinnerofthematchbetweenthetwoteamsadvances)

2)Numberofwinningroundswonduringgroupmatches

3)Rematch(Themapwillbedrawn.)

TheKnockoutStageofthetournamentshallconsistofasingleeliminationtournament.Thefirstteamtowintwooutofthreegameswinsthematch.

Factionofeachteamwillbedecidedbycointossbeforethematch.*acoinwillbetossedbythereferee

Themapselectionwillutilizethe‘ThumbsDown(MapVeto)’method：

1)Leaderofeachteamremovesonemapfromthemappoolbyprivatelynotifyingthereferee.

2)Therefereenotifieswhichmapswereremovedtobothteams

3)Therefereerandomlydrawstheorderofthemapsfromtheremainingpool.

4)Ifbothteamsdecidedtothumbdownthesamemap，thatmapwillberemovedfortheorderdrawing.

Ifthe1stand2ndMatchendindraw，theresultwillbetakenasitis，BUTifthescoreis1win1lose1draw，theadditionalroundswillbecommenced.

Additionalmatchconsistsof18rounds，andiftheadditionalmatchendstie，anotheradditionalroundswillbecommenceduntiloneoftheteamachievesvictory.

Iftheplayerhasknockedout(deadinthegame)，verbalorcomputervoicechattingamongplayerswillbestrictlyprohibited.

Iftheplayerisknockedout，thescreenwillbeblackedoutautomatically

Anyactiontakenwithkeyboardandmouseafterknockedoutwillbewarnedbytherefereeorgamemayendasforfeit.

Boosting(steppingontopofateamplayerornearbyobjects)ispermitted

Doublejumpingisallowed.

Climbinguptohigherstructurebysteppingonthelowerstructureortheteammateisallowed

BUT，movingbyabnormalmethod，(usingbug)fromplacetoplaceisprohibited

C4mustbeplantedataviewablelocation.PlantingC4atalocationwhereaboostisrequiredisnotallowed.

Iftherefereedecidesthatexternalconditions(Press，TeamLeader，Player，Spectator，etc)giveunfairadvantagetoaplayer，theteammaybegivenawarningorlosebydefaultatthereferee’ssolediscretion.

Ifdisconnectionoccursduringamatch

Disconnection：anyconnectionlossbetweenopponentsduetosystem，network，PC，and/orpowerproblems/issues.

Intentionaldisconnection：anyconnectionlossbetweenopponentsduetoaplayer’sactions.Uponjudgmentbythereferee，theoffendingplayermaybechargedwithadefaultloss.

Whenthegameisdisconnected，theplayermustinformittotherefereebyraisinguptheirhands.

Whendisconnected，thecriteriaofthedecisionwillbethebeforeandafterengagement(1deadplayer=Afterengagement)

1：Ifthegameisdisconnectedbeforeengagement

Therounddoesnotcountandrematchtakesplace

2：Ifthegameisdisconnectedafterengagement

Thedisconnectedplayershouldreconnectandjointhegame.

Ifthedisconnectionhasoccurredwithin3rounds，thematchwillberestartedfromround1.

Ifthedisconnectionhasoccurredaftermorethan3rounds，thespecificrounddoesnotcountandtheplayershouldreconnectandcontinuethenextround.(Thegainedscorebeforedisconnectionwillbecounted)

3：Ifmorethantwoplayersaredisconnectedunintentionallyduetotheseverproblem，theroundwillnotbecountedandthenextroundwillbeproceededafterthecommitteeensuresthattheseverstatusisgreen.

Iftheserverstatusdoesnotrecover，accordingtothereferee’sdecision，thegamewillbeendedeitherthedominantteam’svictoryORdraw.

Iftheplayerabusestheruleintentionally，underthereferee’sdecision，thegamemayendasforfeit.

RaiseObjection

Ifaplayerdoesnotagreewithamatchresult，theplayercanraiseanobjectiontotherefereewithin10minutesafterthematch.After10minutes，objectionswillnotbeaccepted.

Finalprovisions

Theabove-mentionedrulesmaybeamendedinthefollowingcases：

1)ShouldtheWCGCommittee，atitssolediscretion，decidetoadoptthelatestpatch/versionreleaseofeachofficialgame；

2)ShouldtheWCGCommittee，atitssolediscretion，decidetomodifyin-gamesettingsandoptionsrequiredbytheuseofmostrecentpatchversion/release

3)ShouldtheWCGCommittee，atitssolediscretion，decidetouseanewlyreleasedCheatProtectionProgramand/orcheatprotectionfunctions

4)ShouldtheWCGCommittee，atitssolediscretion，decidetochangegamesettingsand/oroperationsguidelinesduetodifferencesbetweenonlineandofflinetournaments.
